Design thesis Towards Togetherness is an attempt to explore the ways of human cognition and its role as a primary device in navigating through noise, the incorrect assumptions that people make based on their preconceptions towards information and further present as truths; and chaos as massive and untidy information. It also explores the various ways in which human cognition plays in design practices. The thesis traces how the flow of cognition works as an information transmitter through which humans perceive signals in chaos, and seeks to understand the way people use different ways of thinking to make decisions in order to bridge the gap that noise can create. This study applies a contemporary, collaborative design methodology through a series of design explorations, revolving around the realm of participatory and conditional design.
